Edo State Government Denies Hosting Dillish (BBA winner)?

So there's a press statement from Edo State government denying hosting BBA winner, Dillish, last weekend. Well, they kinda have a point...they can say the government didn't host her, but Governor Adams Oshiomhole hosted her...and that's fact! She wasn't hosted at the government house, but the governor's private house in Edo state. Dillish and a few other girls were there on Saturday October 19th (for those wondering why she didn't make an appearance at Selly's party in Abuja that day) and I have the low down of everything that went down but I will leave all that out because after all said and done, Gov Oshimhole is a single man. I can also tell you one thing for free, Dillish gave a condition for accepting the invitation..she would only pay a courtesy visit and nothing more. All parties agreed!

Another Nigerian Boy Caught And Sentenced To Death In Vietnam For DRUGS...Making It The 3rd This Year

Today, another Nigerian boy who goes by name Eliogu, has been sentenced to death for drug trafficking in Vietnam.

Woman Sentenced To 1 Year Jail Time For Botched Butt Injections

An unlicensed doctor who specialized in cut-rate butt injections by allegedly using Fix-A-Flat and cement to shape derrieres will spend a year in jail for the illicit procedures.

In a deal with prosecutors, Ron Oneal Morris pleaded guilty Thursday morning in Miami to one count of practicing healthcare without a license and was sentenced to 336 days in state prison.

Morris, who was born a man but identifies as a woman, will begin serving her sentence in January, UPI.com reported.

Nine-Man Gang Arrested In Benue For Cultism, Alleged Murder

A nine-man gang has been arrested by the Benue State Police Command for alleged cult-related offences and murder of a 22-year old man in Kashio area of Makurdi.

Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Deputy Suprintendent Daniel Ezeala, yesterday, while briefing newsmen at the Command Headquaters in Makurdi, said the gang was part of the 25 persons arrested during the Eid celebrations.

“During the Eid celebrations, the command arrested 25 suspects across the state for various offences and crimes.

A Dying Mother Saw Her 3 Daughters Get Married Hours Before She Died. (Photos & video)

Becky Swales, a Georgia mother dying of breast cancer lived long enough to watched her three daughters get married at the same time, just hours before she passed away. Her daughters, Jodie, Sarah and Kaylie swales wed in a Sunday ceremony when they realised their mother had only 12 hours to live. The local community donated money and gifts to help them achieve their dreams.

The sisters had schedule their wedding for Oct 26, but it was moved up to Sunday when the brides found out their mother did not have much time left to live.

8-Months-Old Pregnant Woman Plays Basketball Finals In Minnesota (See Photo)

The Minnesota Lynx swept the Atlanta Dream Thursday night to clinch their second WNBA championship in three years, led by several dominant performances from 31-year-old, eight-months pregnant Rebekkah Brunson.

Brunson, a 6-foot, 2-inch tall, 215-pound power forward who recently entered her third trimester, averaged 26 points and 14 rebounds in the series and was by all accounts the Lynx’s biggest threat on both ends of the floor.

“Rebekkah was really the difference-maker, there’s no question about that,” said Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, adding that Brunson’s low-post game has drastically improved since putting on 40 pounds over the past few months. “She did it all—blocking shots, snagging rebounds, and absolutely dominating in the paint. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player just blow through the lane like that. No one could guard her.”

9 Children Killed On Their Way To School In UYO

Ewet Offot community in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has sent a request letter to governor Godswill Akpabio to establish a primary school in the area to avoid further deaths of their children who have to travel several kilometres just to attend schools in neighbouring communities.

The community claimed that nine children have been killed by moving vehicles while on their way to schools in other areas, because Ewet Offot remains the only community in Uyo Capital City without a government owned primary school.
