Bloodshed As Police Allegedly kill Okada Rider (Who Was A FUTA Student)
Fracas broke out, yesterday, in Ikorodu following the death of a motorcyclist, who is believed to be a student of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) for disobeying traffic law, after he was allegedly shot by a Policeman attached to Ikorodu Division, Lagos State.
According to a family member, Kunle came back home from school when ASUU went on strike. He started riding Okada because he was broke and needs money for his up keep. The tragedy struck around 4p.m at Ojubode area leading to a serious gridlock which lasted for hours as the deceased’s colleagues trooped out to protest the killing.
This resulted into pandemonium as commuters and residents scampered for safety. Also, shops and offices were shut for hours by owners for fear of the unknown.
Although information was sketchy as at press time, an eye witnesses said the motorcyclist identified simply as Kunle, met his untimely death when the Policemen stormed the area to impound his motorcycle but the deceased refused arrest on the ground that the Policemen visited last weekend asking him to part with an undisclosed amount of money.
To his surprise, the same Policemen came back yesterday to impound the motorcycle and out of annoyance, Kunle refused to release the motorcycle and started struggling with one of the Policemen.
According to reports, one of the Policemen fired a shot at him, which led to his death.
Vanguard gathered that the corpse was removed by the Policemen to an unknown destination while scores of motorcyclists were said to have gathered at the palace of the Oba of Ikorodu to protest the killing.
In a telephone chat with Vanguard, Chairman, Motorcyclists Association of Lagos State, MOALS, Ikorodu zone popularly called ‘Jendor‘’described the incident as barbaric and called on government to bring the perpetrators to book.
He said: “As you can see, we are very busy now, you can hear a lot of noise from our members. This is too much for us to bear’’
Kunle’s death occurred six months after a policeman attached to Ikorodu Division Corporal Goroye Folagbade, was dismissed for stealing an impounded motorcycle from Saheed Owolabi of the same Ojubode park.
Effort to get the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide’s comment proved abortive as she could not be reached on phone.
Okada men have been protesting since yesterday evening when the unfortunate incident happened, and decided to battle the Police. Unfortunately, two more lives were lost. Chima Onwe, a former staff of channels tv, witnessed the incident. See his tweets below;

Dead Man Wakes Up In Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Mortuary After 3 Days – Ex-Nigerian Soldier Kayode Sotunde Narrates Death Experience “Heaven Is Full Of Snow”
49-year-old Mr Kayode Sotunde, a retired Nigerian soldier has narrated his death experience after he woke from the dead at a mortuary in April.
The ex-military man who died en-route Kano on the 11th of April, 2013 is a living witness that heaven is real.
On the fateful day of his death, the passenger bus taking him and others to Kano from Gboko crashed on the road. All the 17 passengers on the bus died on the spot.
Sotunde who is yet to gain his health back said he woke up after 3 days at Ahmadu Bello University Hospital morgue where his corpse and that of others were deposited for families to claim them for burial.
Mr Sotunde said his corpse was being prepared for burial when he woke up.
The former military man narrated his death experience to Sunday Sun in Abeokuta, Ogun State yesterday.
Interview excerpts below ;
Journey from Gboko to mortuary
On that fateful day, that was April 11, 2013, I was travelling from Gboko to Kano to see my younger brother, Jide Sotunde, a soldier serving in Kano. We had agreed on the journey which we had thought would afford us to discuss important issues, including the possibilities of getting another job that would not be too far from where I had my wife.
I retired from the Nigerian Army, (Supply and Transport), Apapa Lagos where I served for 30 years, during which I also participated in many peace keeping force assignments outside Nigeria.
After retirement, I got a job as a security guard at the Dangote Cement, Gboko, Benue State from where I also resigned because of the distance of my workplace and where my family was based in Osogbo.
The ill-fated vehicle was an 18-seater passenger bus, which I boarded in Gboko en-route Kano. We were barely two hours into the journey when a passenger asked us to pray. Since it was a normal thing for a passenger to offer to pray on such a long journey, I did not heed his call. I was just playing with my mobile phone set.
Aside from that, I didn’t believe in the prayer since I didn’t know anything about Jesus Christ. I was a freethinker who neither went to church nor worshipped any idol. We were making progress on the journey when suddenly there was a bang. That was all I could recollect about the journey until I woke up three days after in the mortuary of the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Kano where I was told that I died in an accident and my corpse along with other 17 passengers were deposited there.
Even though the hospital authorities told me that I was in their morgue for three days as a dead man, I actually spent more days there before I could regain my senses.
I was to be buried in Kano
I was told that before I returned from the land of the dead, my family had instructed my younger brother who I was visiting in Kano before the accident to bury me in Kano since they could not afford the N150,000, which was said to have been requested by transporters to take my corpse from Kano to Abeokuta. My elder sister, Moradeke Sotunde played a prominent role in this regard.
I was also told that it was at the point that my corpse was being prepared for interment that suddenly I returned to the land of the living after my corpse was taken out of the mortuary for prayers by Islamic clerics who were said to have sprinkled water on my corpse preparatory to my burial. I was also told that my hair was also shaved as demanded by the clerics.
I was told that my corpse was taken out of the mortuary after they had dug my grave and organised some clerics to offer the funeral prayers.
They wanted to bury me in Kano because my family members couldn’t afford N150,000 demanded for carrying my corpse to Abeokuta for burial. The initial plan was to move my corpse back home to Abeokuta, where a grave had been dug but for the transportation cost.
Kayode Sotunde Narrates Death Experience
My brother, truly, there is life after death. I can also tell you that there is a living God. You may not believe me, but I am a living witness to this. I may not be able to describe Heaven or Hell, but there is another life after this one that we are living.
This place I am talking about is full of snow. I may not have been to America, but I have heard about snow. Where we were was full of snow, with plenty of something that I can describe as alum stones; whitish in colour with something I can describe as granite in this physical world. In spite of the terrible cold, there was no day that we felt cold and it was never harmful to us.
All of us were there without knowing whether we are male or female. We couldn’t see our eyes, mouth and nose. We had no leg; we had no arm, but we floated in the air without our bodies touching the ground. We were flying around what I will describe as another planet.
On the third day of my arrival on the strange planet, they gave me a message that we were expecting one big prophet.
After the message was delivered, they nominated ushers among us to welcome the prophet. And seconds later, people started trooping in, jubilating as if a goal was just scored in a football match.
On that planet, there were many stars which were not stable in one place, like we have in the sky in this world. I noticed that on a daily basis, people kept on increasing, even though we don’t know from where they came.
I was in this mood until they (I don’t know them) told me that I should go back home to work for the Lord. According to them, there were many people in the world who are not only in bondage, but are also afflicted with human pains. They also instructed that I should work for the Lord and heel people. I was even arguing, putting up some resistance that I could not do it. This was the condition I found myself until I opened my eyes and saw Jide, my younger brother in this part of the world again.
In God’s vineyard
Since the Lord has directed me to work for Him, I will surely do so because ‘to be forewarned, is to be forearmed.’ It was because of this that I went to do my thanksgiving service at the Mountain of Fire and Miracle, in Lagos with the General Overseer, Pastor Olukoya.
The Lord has started performing miracles in other people’s lives through me. I don’t want to sound boastful, but God has started using me. I do pray for people now and they usually return to tell me that their problems have been solved. It is the Lord’s doing.
I have already prayed for a woman who has married been for 14 years without a child that God will give her the fruit of the womb. The person who lives in Ikorodu spoke to me through the telephone and I believe Lord will answer her prayers and request. I have accepted to work in God’s vineyard till I return to Him.
Day I returned to Abeokuta
I caused a stir in this area when I returned alive to Abeokuta because people including my family members, except my brother who was with me when I rose from the dead, did not know I had risen from the dead.
On arrival in Abeokuta, we played pranks on my people as they did not know that I was returning to home alive that day.
When we got nearer home, the person that accompanied me decided to call Kemi, my mother’s last born that we were already in Abeokuta. When my sister saw me, she fainted and was later revived. She was shivering when she woke up.
We later told her to return home to tell others that I had risen from the dead. On my way, I saw people mourning me, wearing black attire.
I trekked a distance of about 800 metres to my father’s house. There, a grave had also been dug beside my late father’s before the family decided to bury my corpse in Kano. I waved as people were expressing shock and disbelief at seeing me alive. When I attempted to move closer to a woman in her shop, she ran away, thinking I was a ghost and pleading that she had no hands in my death. My sister, Moradeke who lives in Lagos was also wearing a black attire, mourning along with others until I returned home.
I returned to Abeokuta on the very day I was to be buried. I even met many of the mourners, wearing black (including my sisters) who had gathered in my father’s house here, (Sabo Abeokuta).
There was also a particular woman who threw away the beans meal she was eating and ran away from her shop when she sighted me.
I kept on saying that I was not dead, but she found it difficult to believe me.
Health challenges
Although I have returned from the land of the dead, I have not fully regained my health as I am talking to you. I have both chest and body pains. In fact, medically speaking, I am not alright. I usually run strange temperature. That was why I visited the Federal Medical Centre, Idi Aba for medical treatment. I vomit blood each time I cough. I can’t engage in any hard labour.
Besides, a lot of strange things have started happening to me. Sometimes, I feel as if I am still in the mortuary. I will be seeing a lot of heads. My sight is not normal, it sometimes fails me. I have also started giving messages to people about things that they don’t know about their family.
I started revealing to them what had happened in the past to their astonishment. This has made many people to run away from me with some describing me as a demon. To be sure that I am not a ghost, I tried to relate with my friends as well as eat with them. Despite this a few of my friends still avoid to shake hands with me, thinking that I am a ghost.
I am homeless
You ask where I live? To answer straight, I am homeless, because I am currently squatting with my younger sister, causing her and her family inconveniences. Even though she is not complaining, I know that I am inconveniencing her.
I have been given quit notice in Osogbo after my landlord heard of the incident. According to him, he could not live with Akudaaya (ghost). I stayed at No 1, Rasco Hall, Oke Fia, Osun State, Osogbo, It was the ejection that informed my living with my sister here (Abeokuta).
I need serious financial assistance from well-meaning Nigerians to take care of my health and sustenance. Survival is difficult for me. That is why I appeal to Nigerians to come to my aid. I want to stop being a burden to my sister and her nuclear family. I want individuals as well as corporate bodies and churches to help me financially. God will surely replenish their purses in abundance in Jesus name.
I had a broken home some years back and I remarried two years ago, but when the incident happened, the woman abandoned me and ran away from Osogbo.
I want to appeal to Nigerians and other people that there is God. I want them to believe that there is life after death; so we should do good to our fellow beings. Heaven and Hell are real. Where we want to go is an option for us to decide. I want people to know that it is just a matter of seconds between life and death.
- Gunmen Shot Man 5 Times In The Head In Owerri, Imo State And How Engineer Anosike Cheated Death
A man based in Owerri-Imo State is very happy to be alive after cheating death in a brutal gun attack last month.
Mr. Alex Anosike’s family are excited he’s alive after he miraculously cheated death in a gun attack to the head. The gunmen shot him six times – five shots in the head and one on the shoulder.
But for divine providence, Engineer Anosike’s family, pastor and members of his church would today be in deep grief. Rather than mourning over his death, they are praising God and celebrating his survival.
According to Sunday Sun, Anosike’s close shave began on July 21 shortly after service at the pentecostal church where he is a member, when some other members reported to the pastor that they had seen two strange young men in one of the uncompleted buildings within the compound of the church located in Naze Extension in Owerri North Local Government Area, Imo State.
On hearing this, the pastor (who does not want his name in print) and Anosike walked over to the uncompleted building to find out what the young men were doing in the place.
In recent times, residents of the Otamiri area of Naze Extension had been worried about the high level of insecurity in that part of the state capital, because of the activities of hoodlums who daily terrorize them despite the best efforts of the security agencies to rid the area of criminal elements. The abysmally low of security had driven fear into people who acquired land in the area, compelling them to delay developing their plots.
Recounting what happened on the fateful day, Anosike told Sunday Sun: “I was with my pastor when some members came to say that two young men were staying in a part of the uncompleted church building. So the pastor and myself decided to go and find out what the two strangers were doing in the uncompleted building of the church. Immediately they saw us, they ran off and jumped over the fence.
“We got curious, wondering why two people who came into our church premises would run off instead of greeting us. So we went towards the fence to know what was actually happening, but as we got close to the fence, we did not know that the men were hiding behind it and armed with a gun.
“Upon sighting us, they just started shooting. I was in the direct line of fire and received gunshot wounds. I immediately passed out. As I would learn after I was revived in the hospital, I got six gunshots – five on the head and one on my left shoulder. Immediately after shooting us, the two hoodlums fled. But my pastor was unhurt,” Anosike said.
When he regained composure, the pastor rallied round the members and rushed Anosike to the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, where doctors made feverish efforts to save his life. He was then moved to Spring Hospital, a private hospital in Abia State.
The race to save him continuing, it was as if Anosike’s run of good luck was in full throttle. The bullets shot at his head had pierced the skull and lodged in the brain. None of the first two hospitals he was taken to (FMC-Owerri and Spring Hospital) had the facilities or expertise to extract the pellets.
Anosike takes up the tale again: “Because of the gunshots I received, blood had accumulated in my brain. The two hospitals I was first taken to (Spring Hospital in Abia State and the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri) lacked the facilities to drain the blood. Plans were already afoot to fly me abroad for surgery to drain the blood and extract the bullets. It was at this point that one of my friends told us about a good neurosurgeon in Imo State, who just came back from the United States. So, I was taken to Geoffrey Memorial Hospital in Owerri, which is owned by Dr Clement Opurum, a neurosurgeon. It was there that I underwent the first successful surgery and the blood in my brain was drained. The first two pellets were also extracted. As I speak now I still have four pellets lodged in my brain. But the doctor has assured me that when the brain reacts it will push them out to where they can be removed.”
Anosike is full of gratitude to the Almighty God for sparing his life. As he continues to recuperate in the hospital, joy is written all over him – one of the lucky few people who received multiple gunshots and yet lived to tell the story of their close-shave with death.
At the Imo State Police Command, Sunday Sun learnt from the Public Relations Officer, DSP Joy Elemoko, that the incident was actually reported to the police, assuring that detectives were investigating the case. While adding that the police had not yet made any arrests, she, however, acknowledged that the police were disturbed by the notoriety of Naze Extension as a den of criminals. The police spokesperson disclosed that the police had since reinforced its ambush squad to flush out all criminals from the area.

Singer Mo Cheddah And Her Nude Photo. Also Talks About Her Career
And during the interview, her nude photo scandal was brought up.
You remember that some time ago, this nude picture of petite female singer, (pic below) Mo Cheddah was posted on her Instagram account. And trust Nigerians who expect so much from their artistes, Mo got so lashed for it.
Read below what Mo got to say about the picture she "mistakenly" sent to a male artiste.
You have been off the scene for a while…
Yes. It is true. But I went back into the studios some months ago and I started recording. I have shot a couple of videos and I am still shooting. Very soon, everything will be unveiled.
You went back to school when your career was blooming. Why?
I was already in school. I started music when I was in my JSS 2. I have been doing music for a long time. My mum was scared. She wanted me to go to school. She told me that if I must do music, I must go to school. So I couldn’t just compromise that request. I was in my first year when I did my hit track. But it never crossed my mind not to go to school. It wasn’t an option.
Was it easy coping with fame and your studies?
It wasn’t easy. I was young. I wasn’t old and grey and tired. School wasn’t going to kill me. God was just faithful. There were times I would be so tired from the shows and recording sessions. I would have an exam and I would also need to travel to perform somewhere. I would be an hour late for my exams; I would read on the plane. In all this, I worked through them. Even my classmates asked me how I was able to do this. I loved it all. I was grateful for it and I was happy because I had work at that young age.
When you went back to school, some other female artistes came into the scene and somehow, everybody forgot about you. So would you think it was a wise decision continuing with your studies at the time you did?
You cannot live your life for people. We are all living our lives. I am where I want to be. I am just having fun and I am not paying attention to what is going on around me. It is all about me. I am happy.
You were still coping with fame when you got the SoulMate brand ambassadorship. How were you able to manage?
I still do not know. I am where I am today. It is just His grace and He has been faithful. He has never left me hanging.
The way you are mentioning God, one may think you have become an evangelist…
But we are all evangelists.
As an ‘evangelist’ how come you posted your bikini picture on your Instagram page? A lot of people even felt you uploaded that picture as publicity stunt…
I am not going to say anything about that picture.
Showbiz comes with a lot of challenges, has it been easy for you?
Earlier on, it was tough when you open the papers and magazines and people are talking about you. It got to me. But with time, I had to develop a thick skin. With age comes confidence and confidence comes with wisdom. It now becomes what you think of yourself and what your family thinks about you. I got a tough skin over the years. People would always talk about you. It doesn’t happen to you alone. It comes with the territory. There are some people who they don’t even get to hear about. For them to talk about you and even ‘cook’ up stories, it then means you are special. I see a silver lining when I hear stuff about me. I always move on.
Was it your ‘thick skin’ that made you to overcome the scandal of your alleged nude picture that went viral?
I don’t know. I don’t remember anything about that. I am not going to defend myself. I don’t always have to do that. People will always talk about you. They will always pick on meaningless things. As a human being, you have to move on.
But really, were those pictures yours?
I will not answer that question.
Did that episode, whether true or false, have any effect on you and your career?
At that point, I had grown a thick skin. I wasn’t depressed. It is just like you waking up and somebody is telling you that you did what you know that you did. Such thing can’t get to you. You don’t have to defend yourself; you just have to move on. Nothing has ever come in between my music and I. Nothing. My school didn’t even affect my music. I am where I am because it is where God wants me to be and it is where I chose to be. Life is all about knowing when to slow down and knowing when to move on. I started music so early and there was a time I was just going on shows, shows and shows. God blessed me so much and I achieved so much at an early age. I had to go into other things. I am an entrepreneur. I am a young lady growing into a young woman. I want to experience the world. That I have not released an album in a couple of years does not mean I am off the scene or that I am no longer relevant. I am an ambassador for brands and I get paid for that. Because I am not on TV doesn’t mean I have been buried.
Why did you choose rap music?
I don’t always plan what I want to do. I always do what I want. When rap came along, it just came. I wasn’t a rapper. I didn’t plan it. I figured I could rap and I decided to go along with it. I wanted to mess with people’s heads. Rapping is just speaking your mind and making it sound as hard as possible. Mo is the singer and Mochedda is my alter ego. Music can’t be put in a box. There are different expressions. I am just an artiste. I can choose to express myself in any way.
Do we see you singing and not rapping soon?
It depends on what we agree to do at the end of the day. I have so many songs now. This new album is about the new me. It is about me as a lady. I like the album already. My fan base has grown. They are no longer 16 years old. They grew just the way I have grown.
Is it because you feel you’ve grown up that you left your label?
I will only say that your secondary school will not be mad at you because you grew and got into the university. Your university will not be mad that you finished and got a job. There is time for everything. I didn’t have any misunderstanding with them. I don’t owe them any album. We are very cool. They are my brothers. I am now on my own. I have my own record label, Cheddah Music. I will soon release my album. You can’t rush music.
Are you sure you can compete with the girls in the industry now?
I am so happy for them. I do music for me. I do music for people to hear me and appreciate the music. No matter how hungry you are, I will not give you raw food. I will boil it and make sure it is ready. I am not in a race.
Who are you currently dating?
I have a boyfriend. I will not like to say who I am dating, but really, I am in a relationship.
What kind of relationship do you have with Eldee?
I will not say anything.
PHOTO: The Youngest Mother Ever
The youngest person to ever become pregnant and give birth was only 5 years old! Lina Medina was born on September 27th, 1933 in Ticrapo, Peru. At age 5, her mother, Victoria, brought her to a hospital because her stomach was increasing in size.
Her parents originally thought Lina was possessed by evil spirits, but upon examining her, Dr. Geraldo Lozada found she was approximately 8 months pregnant. A month and a half after her diagnosis, on May 14, 1939, Lina gave birth via caesarian section to a baby boy.Lina was able to become pregnant at such a young age due to a rare condition known as precocious puberty, basically, an early onset of séxual development. Most girls begin showing signs of pubérty around 10 years old.
The majority of boys tend to go through puberty starting around the age of 11-12. People with precocious puberty tend to begin puberty around the age 7.
Shockingly, according to her mother, Lina, on the other hand, began having menstrual cycles at age 2 ½ and her breasts were developed by age 4. When the doctors examined her at age 5, she was found to already have fully mature sexual organs.
Lina Medina’s son, Gerardo, was named after Lina’s doctor and grew up believing that his mother was his sister. It wasn’t until the age of 10 that he found out who his mother really was.
He died in 1979 at 40 years old of a bone marrow disease. Lina never revealed the father of the child, nor the circumstances of her impregnation. According to a 1955 article reviewing the case, done by Luis Leon of the Associated Press, “Some pointed out there were frequent festivities celebrated by Indians in Andean villages, like the one where Lina was born. These often ended up in orgies in which rape was not uncommon.”
While this is hardly something one would want to hold the record for, for a so many reasons, it would seem that Lina is unlikely to lose this record any time soon (or one would at least hope so!) So, for now, the current record for youngest human being to give birth to another is 5 years, 7 months, and 17 days, which means she was probably impregnated a month or two before her fifth birthday.
Police Arrest Two Fake Doctors in Lagos!
The quack doctor, Nwankwo Stephen: had delivered over 90 pregnancies....
Two suspected quack medical doctors were on Friday paraded by the Lagos State Police Command at its headquarters in Ikeja, southwest Nigeria.
They were arrested for operating an unlicensed hospital at Omotoba Street, Unity Estate, Iba, Lagos.
The suspects, 39-year-old Gabriel Onyema Ihejiero, and Nwankwo Stephen, employed as doctor by Ihejiero, were arrested at a hospital named ‘Care Hospital’ located at 1B Omotoba Street, Unity Estate, Iba-Lagos.
According to the police, on 26 July, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Damian Okoro, who is the Area ‘E’ Commander, Festac Town, received a distress call that some fake doctors were operating in Iba area and they were arrested.
In his confessional statement, Stephen said: “The MD (Ihejiero) is my friend. He came to me for an advice, then I suggested to him that we should start a hospital business and he agreed.
“I only worked for two years in his hospital before I stopped. I was trained as an auxiliary nurse in Ondo State for two years.”
The police said their investigation revealed that the two suspects never attended any medical or nursing school and they have conducted over 80 deliveries for pregnant women in the hospital.
While corroborating the Police report that they have carried out series of surgical operations, Stephen said: “I have delivered over 90 pregnant women and they were all successful.”
In his own confession, Ihejiero, who claimed to be selling bond paper in Ghana before he began the hospital business, said: “I own the hospital located at Iba. Though I am not a medical doctor, I employed a doctor with two years medical experience.”
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, while speaking at the parade, advised the public not to patronise unlicensed hospitals and quack doctors.
World's Wealthiest Self-Made Woman Dies
Rosalia Mera, a seamstress who co-founded a clothing store in northwestern Spain that grew into Zara, one of the world's largest retail chains, has died at the age of 69. She was Spain's richest woman.
Inditex SA, the owner of Zara, issued a statement Friday confirming her death but did not provide more details and declined comment via email. Spanish media widely reported that Mera, a major stakeholder in Inditex, suffered a stroke while on vacation on the Mediterranean island of Menorca and died Thursday night at a hospital in La Coruna, the city where she was born in Spain's Galicia region.
Mera founded the first Zara store in 1975 in La Coruna with her then-husband, Armancio Ortega. He is listed by Forbes as the world's third-richest person.
They were originally going to call the store Zorba after the "Zorba the Greek" movie, but there was a bar with that name a few blocks away from the site, so the letters on the Zorba sign were rearranged to spell out Zara.
The store specialized in low-priced versions of more expensive popular clothes, and the formula turned into a success for store openings across Spain and then internationally.
Mera held 6.99 percent of Inditex stock, according to company filings at the Madrid stock exchange, and her fortune was estimated by Forbes at $6.1 billion. The magazine says she was the world's 195th richest person but was in the No. 1 spot on its list for "wealthiest self-made woman."
She also became known for voicing opposition to the current conservative government's plans to change Spanish abortion laws. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy is a close ally of the Catholic Church on moral and social issues, and has repeatedly said he will revise Spain's abortion law, though he has not yet tabled any proposals. The previous Socialist government passed a law allowing 16 year olds to get abortions without parental consent. Mera said that law is "just fine" and "should be left as it is."
In addition, she opposed government cutbacks in the name of austerity affecting Spain's cherished education and national health care programs.
Besides the Zara chain, Inditex also owns retailers Bershka, Masssimo Dutti, Oysho, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Uterque and Zara Home. There are 1,763 Zara stores around the world, and Inditex has a total of 6,058 stores and 120,000 employees.
Late Prophet T.O Obadare’s Burial Ground Is A Miracle Ground & Healing Centre In Ilesha, Osun State – Family
According to a projection by Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola who approved a total sum of N35 million for the burial of late WOSEM Prophet T.O Obadare, the grave yard of the deceased man of God is set to become a miracle ground.
Obadare’s first son
Pastor Paul Obadare, the first son of the popular evangelist assured the public that his dad’s burial ground will become a healing center for the sick and the oppressed.
He further said the mausoleum built by Osun’s Government in memory of his late father would perform miraculous signs and wonders as he did when he was alive.
“We are sure that papa’s grave will heal the sick and many oppressed people will receive deliverance and breakthrough for having an encounter with his grave. So, it is important to preserve such grave and that is why we appreciate the state government for deeming it fit to construct a mausoleum in his honour. The place can also be used for prayer and other spiritual activities by those who believe in the ministry of our dear Father.” – said Pastor Paul Obadare
Before his death, Prophet Obadare gave his first son, Paul a specific instruction on how and where he should be buried. He told him wherever he died, his corpse should be buried in his hometown in Ilesha, Osun State.
Hear Pastor Paul as he narrates what his father told him before breathing his last breath:
“I was privileged to have an interaction with Papa before he died. I moved close to him and he told me so many things as if he had known that he would die. One of the things he told me was that we should ensure that we bring him back to Ilesa whenever he dies and his remains should be buried inside his church in Ilesa, his home town.
“Papa told me that I should tell the family that he insisted that his body be brought to Ilesa whenever he goes to be with his Lord and saviour. He maintained that he would want to be buried in Ilesa and that is why we have all agreed that he should be brought to Ilesa, even though he spent better part of his life and ministry in Akure, Ondo state, where we have headquarters of the church. Today papa was not just an indigene of a particular place but an international man with reputable achievements spread across various areas of human endeavours.”
“The late Apostle Obadare was a fervent man of God, and there was no dull moment with him. Every time you had with him was always very interesting and exciting. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him, especially those of us who are his biological children and several other spiritual children in various parts of the world.”
“He was a soul that represented so many things to us as a family and even he represented so many things to the body of Christ on earth. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) would miss papa, so also many individuals and organizations would miss him.”
Obadare’s burial will take place today in Ilesha Osun state.
One of his favourite quotes that can never leave my memory is:
“Ogo ni fun Olorun ni oke orun; mo tun wi leekan si pe, ogo ni fun Olodumare.”
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Nigerian Nurse Faces Probe Over Sex With Ex-Patient
A Nigerian nurse in the United Kingdom is facing a probe for having sex with his former patient, a conduct considered to be unethical.
He was said to have had sex with a patient after romancing her over a meal at a tapas restaurant while she was being treated for a mental breakdown, a tribunal heard Thursday.
The Daily Mail reports that Kenneth Ngobele quizzed the woman, a manic depressive, about her sexual history and her attitude to Nigerian men, it is alleged.
Ngobele later took the woman to a La Tasca restaurant and told her “You know I want to f*** you”, the Nursing and Midwifery Council was told.
The patient met Ngobele while she was being treated at Basildon Hospital in Essex following a mental breakdown
The vulnerable woman initially kept the alleged affair secret but eventually revealed all to health workers at a clinic.
Ngobele was working as a deputy charge nurse at the time of the allegations in 2009.
It is claimed he met up with the woman after she was discharged from the hospital and twice visited her home for sex.
He also threatened to release confidential information about the woman to her employer unless she met with him, the panel heard.
In a statement, the victim said: “Kenneth questioned me quite heavily about my sexuality, the number of sexual partners I had had, whether they were relationships, whether I had introduced them to friends and family or whether they were one-night stands.
“As we were walking, he asked me what kind of men I liked, questioned my sexual preferences and was being quite flirty.
“I was in a really bad way and suicidal at the time.My stay at the hospital was two nights. It looked to me as if Kenneth was avoiding work as much as possible and then trying to come onto me.
“Kenneth came into the female-only television room to come and sit with me.
“Kenneth said, ‘I’m a nurse, I can go anywhere’.
“Kenneth stated that he had been studying me and he had noticed that I interacted with men very well.
“I remember feeling really freaked out by that statement.”
Just as the woman was due to be discharged, Ngobele told her she would no longer be his patient and they could meet safely, she claims.
He also wrote down his phone number in her diary.
“He was staring at my body in a really sexual way,” added the woman. “Kenneth said that as soon as I get out, he wanted me to text him.”
When they met up for the first time, she said she was feeling “really manic”.
“One way it expresses itself is I become promiscuous,” she explained.
“I knew that sex was on the cards.”
Describing their meeting at La Tasca on June 14, she said: “Kenneth paid for everything. I remember him saying, ‘You owe me’ and said it in a sexually aggressive way.
“As soon as the door closed, it became really aggressive.”
The pair then met up again on July 7 and again had sex but the woman then began refusing to answer his calls.
During an internal interview with trust bosses, Ngobele at first admitted some of the allegations.
But soon “his assertions began to shift, with him creating an alternative scenario”, the panel was told.
Tope Adeyemi, for the NMC, said: “It is submitted that all of the registrant’s conduct was sexually motivated and constitutes a gross breach of his privileged position.”
Ngobele was sacked following the investigation. He denies all the charges he faces at the NMC hearing.
If found guilty of misconduct he could be kicked out of the profession.

She added that no one had called the family to demand a ransom.
Odunowo said, “We have been traumatised since then and cannot wait for the safe return of our daughter back home. We shall therefore be extremely grateful to receive any information that may lead to our reunion with Oluwaseun. She is adorable, smart and talks a lot.”

Pastor Impregnates Senior Pastor’s Daughter And Absconds
It was gathered that the pastor whose case had just been transferred from the Ekiti State Magistrate Court to the state High Court was granted bail in July after being remanded in detention for about three months due to his inability to meet his initial bail conditions.
The new church, which he started in Ikoyi area of Ikere-Ekiti was said to attract a lot of people, having succeeded in taking away many members of the church where he pulled out. The girl, Oluwadamilola who until her ordeal was an SS1 student of a high school in Ikere- Ekiti, gave birth to a baby boy on May 26, while the man was still in detention, over the matter.
Damilola’s mother said the father of the young pastor had entered a written agreement with the parents of the girl in March this year, promising that they would take care of the girl and her pregnancy but the alleged lackadaisical attitude of the pastor thereafter compelled the girl’s parents to report the case to the police.
According to sources, the embattled pastor had been organizing revival programmes and crusade, calling members of the public who were not aware of his atrocities to come for miracles. It was gathered that the middle-aged pastor was married, and this was the reason he hurriedly left the church in September last year when he realized the girl was pregnant and warned her not to let anybody know.
