This is another one of those videos where everybody is going to react without thinking, thus demonizing the evil Kangaroo for trying to drown man’s best friend.
To be fair, this Roo is a little creepy, standing alert, upright and akimbo, eager to use his incredible strength. But guess what? He’s just defending himself.
Here’s the thing. Kangaroos, when threatened, will defend themselves like any other wild animal. And two big, aggressive dogs growling and barking are threat enough.
What we’re wondering is, why the hell was this dog owner just chilling and watching this whole thing go down? Shouldn’t he be calling his dogs off? Or jumping in the water to save them?
