4 Persons Struck Dead By Thunder In Nasarawa

Tragedy struck at Mechanic Village in Lafia Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, when four persons were killed on Friday as thunder struck

According to a witness, the incident occurred at Bukan-Sidi around 7:05 p.m. when the four men were about leaving their workshop following a downpour.

The witness said further that when the deceased noticed that it was about to rain, they decided to lock up their workshop and go home, but before they could leave the workshop thunder struck, killing them instantly.

Agagu Was Hypertensive, Son Says

First son of the late Dr Olusegun Agagu, a former governor of Ondo State, on Saturday said his father was hypertensive.

Agagu, who returned from United States on Thursday, reportedly slumped in Ikoyi, Lagos, where he was having a meeting with Ondo indigenes on Friday evening.

Mr Feyi Agagu said, “He just had a medical examination, which showed that he had a little cholesterol, and was hypertensive. There is diabetics in our family, but it’s nothing major; it was just something he had been dealing with for the past 10 to 15 years. So, there was no inkling that something was about to happen,” Agagu said.

Kidnapped Anglican Archbishop Regains Freedom

The Dean of the Anglican Church of Nigeria, Archbishop Ignatius Kattey has regained his freedom from kidnappers’ den.

Kattey, who was abducted along with his wife, Beatrice last week Friday along Aleto-Eleme in Eleme Local Government Area of River States but she was later dropped off, was freed on Saturday night.

Confirming the development, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Angela Agabe said the clergyman was rescued by the police and other security forces.

Man Stands Trial For Raping His Own Mother In Ekiti State

A 27 year old man, Akintunde Omoteinde, is currently standing trial for allegedly raping his own mother. According to a report by Punch, the sick incident happened on August 23 at their residence at the Ajebamidele area of Ado Ekiti in Ekiti State.

A resident of the area who spoke with a Punch reporter said:

“The news was shocking. Not many of us believed the story at first but the truth cannot be hidden for too long. The woman, a petty trader, was said to have been raped by her son. She was badly injured and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
"I can tell you that the family is presently living in shame. We hear that the family members are planning to move out of the house but we cannot confirm that.” 

Man Arrested For Branding His Name On His Girlfriend’s Private Parts (PHOTO)

Police say, 49-year-old Christopher Jackson from Arizona, allegedly used a branding tool and a butane torch to burn the initials “CJ” onto his girlfriend while she was unconscious.

Although the incident reportedly happened in May, the victim came forward just recently claiming she was too scared to come before.

According to court records, Jackson asked his girlfriend to go out dancing after a baseball game.

He asked them for he dissolution of his marriage to his wife, Grace, on allegations of $ex denial.

Mr Adebayo revealed that anytime he asks for $ex, they will begin to argue which would then lead to a brutal fight.

“My wife once slapped our landlord’s wife because she came to mediate between the two of us when she refused me $ex,” he said.

Olusegun Agagu, Former Ondo Governor Is Dead

Dr. Olusegun Kokumo Agagu, the immediate past governor of Ondo State is dead.

Agagu reportedly slumped and died in his House in Ibadan, Oyo State, yesterday afternoon after returning from a trip to United States. Another source said he died in his Ikoyi residence, in Lagos.

Agagu, a senior member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, was to meet with President Goodluck Jonathan next week along with some elders of the party from the South West on the lingering crisis in the Party.

Man Comes Home Early To Find Girlfriend, 43, Running Naked From His 13-Year-Old Son’s Room

A woman betrayed her boyfriend in the worst way possible when she had sex with his teenage son.

Pamela Fahy, 43, of Winona, Minnesota, was a special education teacher, who worked at the La Crecent-Hokah School District.

She has been arrested after her boyfriend caught her running from his 13-year-old son’s room.

The boyfriend told police that he returned home earlier than usual on Sunday morning, only to find his girlfriend, Fahy, who was naked from the waist down, running out of his teenage son’s room.
